3D Print Changes The Way Companies Approach Their Clients

It’s common practice for architects and constructors to create 3d printed models in order to convince their clients and close the deal. However, now even banks use 3d printing to attract and convince clients to trust them. To be more precise, the Swiss Bank Zürcher Kantonalbank decided to turn a rather boring procedure such as the mortgage shopping experience, a bit more exciting.

The bank took the blueprints of the client’s house, turned it into a 3d model and then 3d printed the model on a ProJet 660 Pro 3D printer.  The idea was simple, to convince the client by showing him the final result in physical form. The initiator of the idea Atahan Tosun, Head of Segment Management at Zürcher Kantonalbank Private Banking says, “Fulfilling the lifelong dream of owning a home is a very emotional moment”, thus, such a gesture surely convince you to trust the bank.

On his behalf the client said, “Now that I have a library of my own, I look forward to displaying my home model there,” explained the client. “I find it both fascinating and beautiful, and am rather proud to have it. I’m also impressed with the creativity of the idea and how perfectly it was designed and realized.”

It is certain that if I had to be convinced about trusting a bank with mortgaging my house, this would be the best way to do it.
