The creation of the dress required numerous techniques, designed to create volume through the process of printing, at two Makerbot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printers. The Upper half of Bitonti’s dress involves MakerBot’s PLA Filament in order to achieve translucency. Flexible Filament is being used for the skirt, which is lined with synthetic fur.
